The Summit Pasture contains 311 contiguous acres of mountain pasture with outstanding recreational potential. This property uniquely holds the headwaters of both Divide Creek and Swan Lake Creek which flow into different drainages. Featuring wooded hillsides and a secluded canyon it is located at an elevation of about 6,400 feet. This amazing recreational block of land is just 24 miles north of Preston Idaho.
The pasture sits on the south slope of Cottonwood Peak on the divide between the Swan Lake Creek drainage and the Divide Creek drainage and is the headwaters of both streams. It has historically been used as summer pasture for the Red Rock Ranch. It is now offered separately as an outstanding mountain recreation destination. A well-maintained county road provides access.
The Summit Pasture is ideal for hiking, mountain biking, and ATVs in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. Mule deer and an elk herd pasture on the property during Summer and Fall providing world class hunting opportunities.
